Here are answers to some of our most-asked questions. If yours isn’t here, just reach out. We’re happy to help.

  • Absolutely. In fact, you don’t need to know how to pose at all.

    I’ll guide you from head to toe, from what to do with your hands to where to look, how to stand

    and when to give me that real smile.

    You bring yourself. I’ll bring the creative direction.

  • Once you’re booked, we’ll help you prepare for your session, including wardrobe guidance when

    needed.

    Choose pieces that make you feel confident, comfortable and like yourself. For branding

    sessions, we’ll also consider your brand, audience and how you plan to use your photographs.

    And yes, outfit changes are welcome when time allows.

  • Yes. Professional makeup is required for all women being photographed. It is one of the biggest

    reasons our images have the clean, polished, camera-ready look you see throughout our

    portfolio. To guarantee the same professional results that led you to book with us, professional makeup is a must.

    Our experienced in-house glam squad knows exactly how to create makeup that photographs beautifully under studio lighting, and we highly recommend using them. If you choose to bring your own licensed professional makeup artist, she is more than welcome. Simply send us her email address, and we'll send her a calendar invitation with the studio address and arrival time.

    Please arrive with your hair styled and photo ready.

    While you're welcome to use your own makeup artist, we can only guarantee the signature look our studio is known for when you book with our glam squad. The flawless, polished images you see on our website and social media are created with professional photography makeup specifically designed for the camera, and that consistency is part of the experience we strive to deliver.

  • No. Professional makeup is a separate service and is not included in your photo session fee. We've partnered with our professional glam squad to offer our clients a discounted rate of $100.

    Because professional makeup is required for all women being photographed, we recommend reserving your glam appointment as early as possible. Our artists are experienced in creating camera-ready makeup that photographs beautifully and helps ensure the polished, signature look our studio is known for.

  • Our sessions are typically closed so we can create a relaxed, comfortable environment where the focus is entirely on you.

    If you'd like to bring a guest, please let us know their name in advance so we can plan accordingly. We welcome supportive guests who encourage you, help carry a bag, fluff a dress, or keep you smiling. A great hype person is always more helpful than an awkward audience. 😉

    To ensure the best experience, we ask that all guests be respectful of the studio and the creative process. If a guest becomes distracting or takes away from your session, we may ask them to wait in our lobby so you can continue enjoying your experience.
